The Tunnel to Towers (T2T)<\/a> organization supports families of military veterans and first responders, (firefighters and police) who have been killed in the line of duty. They also support seriously handicapped military veterans who have been injured in the line of duty. Tunnel to Towers supports these families by either paying off the mortgage on the homes of the Gold Star families or building homes designed specifically for seriously handicapped veterans.<\/p>\n The\u00a0Gold Star Family Home Program<\/em>, launched in September 2018, honors the legacy of those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. The Foundation will provide a mortgage-free home to surviving spouses with young children.<\/p>\n We would like to show our support by raising funds to pay off the mortgage for just one (1) Gold Star family. We have contacted the T2T organization and was told that there are approximately two hundred (200) families on their waiting list. The average amount needed to pay off one mortgage is approximately Two Hundred Thousand and 00\/100 Dollars ($200,000.00).
